Entrance Dental Hygiene
Complete overview of the condition of your teeth and gums
Entrance dental hygiene takes approximately 90 minutes. First of all, we will take a medical history and conduct a careful examination of the condition of your teeth, gums and periodontium. We monitor redness, swelling, bleeding, the presence of dental plaque and stone, and for implants we use special tools designed to safely treat the surface of implants. Based on the results, we will consult with you on the state of oral hygiene and draw up an individual treatment plan that will help you maintain a healthy and beautiful smile.
Removal of dental plaque
We remove plaque and pigmentation using air-flow with a fine powder. This powder (Erythritol) with a particle size of 14 μm is safe to use even on mucous membranes and gums.
Removal of tartar
We remove supragingival (supraginal) tartar using hand scalers and special ultrasound. The end of the ultrasound oscillates with the help of ultrasonic waves and is cooled by a mixture of water and chlorhexidine with antibacterial action.
Implant treatment
For the safe treatment of your implants, we use special plastic-coated ultrasonic tips.
Hard-to-reach places
After using ultrasound, the remains of tartar from hard-to-reach places are removed with fine hand tools (scalers and curettes), and subsequently a fluoridation gel is applied to the tooth surface.
Home care
The health of your teeth and gums is especially envied by regular and careful home care. Therefore, during the visit there is an illustrative demonstration of cleaning with individually selected and recommended aids.
Calibration of interdental spaces
It is important to calibrate the interdental spaces, during which the dental hygienist selects the right sizes of interdental brushes directly for you.
Specialized performances
What techniques do we use to achieve perfection?
Deep-scaling a root-planing
Deep cleaning under the gums removes tartar and plaque from the roots using gentle manual and ultrasonic instruments. Reduces bacteria in periodontal pockets and promotes gum healing. It often takes place in multiple visits.
GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy)
At least 2 times a year to undergo dental hygiene and control A modern, gentle method aimed at removing biofilm — the main causes of inflammation and caries. Combines plaque detection, AIRFLOW/PERIOFLOW, pigmentation removal and fine ultrasonic cleaning. It also includes education about proper home care..
Air-flow (sandblasting)
Removes soft coatings and pigmentation from the surface of teeth, gums and tongue. We use fine powders for normal cleaning and coarser powders for dark pigmentation caused by food and drinks.
Perioflow
Gentle sandblasting suitable for periodontal pockets and around implants. It helps to remove the remnants of bacteria after deep cleaning and promotes healing in inflammation. The powder contains chlorhexidine for antibacterial effect.
Teeth whitening in the office
Professional whitening directly in the office using a special tip and safe gels. The procedure quickly improves the shade of teeth and is suitable for quick and pronounced results.
Teeth whitening at home
The client performs bleaching at home using individual carriers and gel. Gradual, gentle bleaching lasts 1-3 weeks and ensures stable and long-lasting results. Can be combined with office bleaching for maximum effect.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
In the case of untreated mucositis, inflammatory changes spread to deeper tissue structures in close proximity to the implant. These are manifested, among other things, by irreversible loss of bone tissue in which the implant holds. Other manifestations include, for example, mucosal bleeding and deepening of the so-called mucosal tunnel in the implant area. In the extreme case, the disease ends with the loss of the implant.
Periodontitis is an inflammatory disease of the hanging apparatus holding the tooth in the dental bed. The cause of the disease is untreated gingivitis and the spread of inflammatory changes to the deeper structures of the periodontal. In this disease, there is a loss in the appropriate location of the bone of the tooth bed and the ligamentous fibers that strengthen the tooth to the bone. Manifestations include bleeding gums, exposing dental necks and deepening of periodontal pockets, among others. In the advanced stage of the disease, the teeth become flaccid and, consequently, up to their loss.
Inflammation of the same character as gingivitis can also arise in the area of the mucous membrane around the implant. This inflammation, as with gingivitis, is caused by the accumulation of dental plaque in the area of the mucous margin in close proximity to the implant. It is manifested by redness, swelling and bleeding of the mucous membrane in the area of the implant. Prevention is the regular and thorough removal of dental plaque.
Gingivitis is the most common gum disease. The cause of the disease is dental plaque, which forms on the surface of the teeth and consists mainly of bacteria and their products. If dental plaque is not regularly and qualitatively removed, inflammation of the gums will develop. Inflamed gums are manifested by typical symptoms of inflammation: redness, swelling and bleeding. At a more advanced stage, soreness may appear. Gingivitis is the initial stage of periodontitis. Prevention of gingivitis is the regular and thorough removal of dental plaque from the surface of the teeth and interdental spaces.
